I have been Playing Reasonably tight, and I cant think of any reason why he would make this call. Every time i have gone to showdown in the past half hour i have had the best of it. This one just confuses me.

Don't try pulling anything in uNL. Bet your hands straightforward...subtlety is -EV at microstakes. They do not pay attention, hence why they are playing penny stakes.

I wasn't trying anything tricky at all His bet on the flop made him look weak so i acted on it. I have been running this table over since i got here and this was the first time i was called down with an ace high. but even then I have been showing down winning hands consistently. This was just a wierd call because this guy was pretty tight himself and I don't think I was projecting any sort of maniac image.

You WERE trying to pull something if you get beaten by ace high...not to mention hiding your hole cards in the post. Don't make stupid bluffs at microstakes...it's dumb.

I hid my hole cards because i was curious as to what people would think i held.

I had KQ of hearts if you were wondering.
But you don't understand what I'm saying anyways so never mind.

The guy i was playing was actually a decent player, and I felt I could get a away with a bluff against him if i played it right. He was by no means a calling station or a maniac. For the most part he played pretty standard, which is why i made the pay in the first place, and was confused by his call.

And to me it was obvious you had like QT or KQ. If your willing to put that much $ in, and you lose to ace high, and you raised preflop, that narrows your hands down pretty well.

BTW, that is a terrible way to bluff. No one is ever fold a jack there. Flush draws are calling you down.

Obviously, that guy is not a good player, and a station. Its a terrible hero call with ace high. Stop bluffing the stations.
