No real reads on villain as he hasn't been at table long. He's played a couple of hands out of 12-15, played them aggressively but nothing like this and took both down before showdown.

Does he have the draw or maybe an overpair enough to stack here? Most obvious hand is a set but not many ways he can pull that off...

Well the pots still pretty small, but even so theres only like 5 combos that you should really be worried about (44,33,99) The 2 pair combos are very unlikely, I mean 94??? I dont think so... I think it's more likely that he went for a limp reraise preflop with an overpair and noone cooperated with him and he thinks he has the nuts. He could also have a draw as well. I'm not sure why someone with a really strong hand would be overbet shoving on this relatively dry board. I dunno he seems a little crazy to me, I believe I would make the call and expect to be ahead a good amount of the time.

I snapcall. Looks like a slowplayed overpair to me most of the time.

agreed, a set is more likely to raise smaller to entice a call rather than flat out shove. This looks more like a slowplayed overpair or maybe a straight draw with 56 or A2/A5

Yeppers, this is an overpair/etc well enough of the time to call away

OK...I'm vastly overthinking this one I think.

I called and he flipped 99

I don't know why but lately it seems like everyone who shoves like this has the nuts lol.

I've had enough of these lately where the bastard had the nutz to be a little gun shy, but before that I would have thought I was ahead.

Incredibly strange..but I'm going to agree with most others and say that this is always a call, regardless of this one hand.
