ok playing 1-2 Nl at the Hard Rock in Hollywood, Fl. At a great table ( or so I thought ) and playing great. Didn't get any cards for a cpl hrs but manage to stay steady and move up a little.

Finally I get a hand the Dreaded JJ in SB. Everyone calls the BB Button ( new player very new ) raises it to 10. On me I raise to 30 into a 26 dollar pot. BB calls ( LAG ) and the button calls everyone else had folded.

Flop comes: Qs 7s 5c

I bet 20 and get called by both players was very worried

Turn came: 2S

So I checked and then BB ( Lag ) moves all-in now ( 230 and had me covered ) I was actually thinking about calling now because of how fast he said all in and the fact that he push all his chips ( I noticed earlier that when he had a hand he would pick up the chips and set them up neatly for the dealer )

ohh well didn't matter guy next to me called the all-in ( very quickly by the way ) for his 130 I flip over my jacks to show the fold.

So what do they say...."what do you have" button reply s "nothing".... "really I have nothing to" I had thought they were joking and was actually laughing...then they flip over there cards

BB: had Ac Jd
button shows: Kd 3s
I stopped laughing at this point and felt very inclined to kill someone not sure who though they idiot who tried to setup a play on me or the fish who calls with King High with a flush draw 3 high....

The River was a blank and A high won...... I cried....

Now anyone have any advise on how the hand could have been played pre-flop and post-flop thanks and good luck

your 20 flop bet is awful imo.

Youre worried because they call 20 on flop while they called 30 preflop?

Id cal 20 on flop with just about anything with a 100$ pot

you say 20 is awful and agree, I was trying to setup a probe bet without investing to much. So in your opinion what would have been the better move. I was thinking afterwards sense I made the re-raise pre-flop I should of moved all-in representing K's or A's ( I was playing really tight game ). Or should I have just avoided this by just calling the raise pre-flop instead of re-raising.

I like the preflop re-raise, but you might've considered making it a bit more to make up for being out of position & to reduce the likelyhood of a call. Post flop, I prolly just check, because of your reads. If you really must C-bet, then make it a legitimate 65%-75% of the pot.

The key here, is that if you read these guys as maniacs or new players, don't C-bet. bluffing doesn't work against newbies & calling stations. Just make solid hands, and make them pay you for it.

Bet more or don't bet at all on the flop. since you have reraised, I'm more inclined to c-bet, especially if I have the Js in my hand. Once you get called by these guys and the flush hits, I'm inclined to let it go since my hand will be second best a good enough % of the time for me to want to see a cheap showdown (or no showdown at all).

With this in mind, I would play JJ for set value some of the time aginst these opponents, especiacilly OOP. I'm not saying what you did is wrong, just that I would flat it some of the time, especially if BB is a calling station that is willing to stack with air.

Thats just it. Regardless of the players, 20$ isnt gonna be a probe bet since its not gonna give you any info or value or anything really.

You have a 100$ pot so with your bet, 1st guy has to call 20 into 120 and 2nd guy has to call 20 into 140. SO theyll basicaly be doing this with any two.

Youre not getting enough value from draws and lower hands, and if youre gonna slow down after gettin 20$ called in a 100$ pot, then your wasting way too many winning hands.

I am not crazy about the pre-flop re-raise because you build a big pot OOP against idiots with a hand that's very hard to play because half the time you will have overcards.

The small flop bet only makes the pot even bigger. Any draw or overcards will call. And of course maniacs.

I agree with the fold after the 2 all-ins, but not showing them.

Against such horrible players, I try to see cheap flops and when I hit a flop hard, they usually give their money with all kinds of hands. It is also important to do this as much as possible in position. The button maniac is to your right so you are in excellent positioin to trap him in the future.

I would have called the initial PF-raise and check-folded the flop. No reason to waste chips when you don't have at least top pair against such players.
