I put him on a set.. Maybe sixes.. He calls PF so overpair is unlikely, he would flat call your cbet on the flop to make you fire a double barrel on the turn and when you check he value bets turn and river.. Could also be sth like KQ that tried to pick up the pot on the turn feeling that your check shows weakness... But i think definitely it's not a bluff betting big turn and river

I think he has no bluffs there, but I would still call =)
stats show him a decent player (even 93 hands, I know)
hands that would be crushit you PRF like strong pairs would be 3 beted, you can figure a small pair or a hand he does not want to over blow the pot whit say AT+/77+
He is not folding much to с bets on the flop, but he has a few Jx there, turn does not matter much as is you are fighting agains a set.... wel you are fighting against a set
River givees him a few more outs as QTs+ are there. Generally speaking hands that you are beating are 4-5-6th pairs like lets say poket 55? or a bluff with KTo (both scenarios are not likely as I see it). So most likely you are crushed... but than again =)

Why did we check turn???

Btw no such thing as decent players at 2nl... also stats dont make someone good. Presuming someones good cuz of stats is a leak. Remember these guys are stuck at 2nl because there is a problem with their game.

Its our job to find that and exploit and move up

I didn't want to get raised of my hand....so check called the turn.... but Q on the river changed a lot of things....I was only beating a bluff.... IMO

Q changes nothing. Well it does it changed your perception of the hand and spooked you... but its hard for villain to have Q

The only hand that has q in it maybe qj but reason why we have a problem on river is because your issue on how you played turn.

If you bet turn you will protect ur hands from draws and whiffed. And get raised if we crushed. Id bet there 100%

I don't think it really matters weather or not it's a bluff because he could be value betting weaker hands as well as having a bluff. I would make a pretty clear call hear, given the way the hand was played. By checking the turn with nearly the top of our range, we should be check calling both turn and river almost all the time.

Good point.. this line induces whiffed draws

So to make things simple

Turn check and snap call river... good price so who cares right.

Tougher lines

But oop i prefer check raise and get our answer cheaper on avg on turn and river check and he wont bluff us... so fold to bets on river. But if he checks behind on riv we will win most times. And we made same money as if we were to call river bet anyway and make more from sticky draws

One i like is betting turn and then thin betting river... riskier but most profitable i find

Those 3 lines are from easiest to hardest and depends on your experience with what you choose
