Villain has been betting and three betting left right and centre. He lost a big pot a little while ago (QQ vs AA AIPF) and has had a few bluffs called down.

Is my hand good enough to take a stand with?

personally, id fold it and outplay him in the longrun, but then again thats because i constantly lose coinflips...

But... if u feel like a coinflip .... at BEST , then call...

but otherwise... easy fold

this is a deepish-stacked tournament concept, and really isn't applicable here. if we think we are even slightly ahead of villain's range we call here, and even if villain's range is something like 66-AA, AK-AJ, KQ then we're ahead (villain's tilt and lag-factor means there is a small chance he has any two random cards as well).

HMmm tough one Chuck. The only thing you have to worry about is the 4 overpairs, and i cant really see AA or KK shoving like this, regardless of how big a maniac he is. I think your ahead of his range, tough call, but i think id have to make it.

For what it's worth, it was an instashove (look at me and how strong I am!)

Anyways, I folded. Decided during the hand I could pick a better spot to get my money in (and did).

I see what you're saying but don't you think with static blinds and stacks ranging from 100-150BB with a bit of patience you could sit and find a better spot to break him? Villain likes to get his chips in the middle so we'll get a shot at him. Just wait him out.

I'd have folded this too.

i think that the fact that you've seen him get it all in preflop with QQ-AA makes this a fold, especially if you've seen him take the same line he is taking against you.

i also think that, in general, passing up on a +EV shot to bust a fish isnt good because someone at else at the table might bust him the next hand, ya know?

most of the time he wont be that far ahead, so i dont think it's too bad of logic to wait to get it in on a different hand. however with that logic he shouldnt have reraised preflop if he wasnt going to call a shove.
