Why not put a half-pot on the river? The villain checks, although he put the turn. It is unlikely that he has a flash. He can have a set, but this is just a good reason to convince him that you have a flash. ;)

That piddly bet of his on the flop followed by the call says "Hey I've got something, but not much yet" . The half pot bet on the turn screams "I've improved." The check on the river says "I ain't got much, so I want to keep this pot on the low side, BUT, I ain't going anywhere, so bet away." I don't think TPTK is likely a winner here, so it wouldn't be a value bet, IMO.

Limp call on river looks like low pair or suited connectors to me. Check call on the flop doesn't change my mind. The donk bet on the turn is odd. Why bet? Two reasons, IMHO, he is bluffing the flush or he hit a low flush and is afraid you have a high spade. To him you play looks exactly like what it is, high cards that hit top pair or better.

When he checks the river, does he have a flush or a bluff. If he has the flush he isn't folding, even to a pot size bet, IMHO. If he was bluffing he is definitely folding. What is the point of betting the river then? TPTK on the river is a hand you'd like to show down and see if its good. I check behind too.
