full tilt poker - No Limit Hold'em Cash Game - $0.05/$0.10 Blinds - 6 Players - (LegoPoker Hand History Converter)
Hero (SB): $22.90
BB: $9.35
UTG: $10.55
MP: $14.20
CO: $13.60
BTN: $9.85
Reads: Villian is pretty Tight/Aggressive. He's not in a ton of pots, but when he is I notice he's a bit more aggressive than usuall (5-6 times BB raises rather than the standard 3-4). When he's shown he's shown solid hands. His VP$IP is 11, plus he's multitabling 12 tables so I don't think he's playing anything but strong hands.
Preflop: Hero is dealt
(6 Players)
UTG raises to $0.35, MP calls $0.35, CO folds, BTN calls $0.35, Hero calls $0.30, BB folds
Flop: ($1.50)
(4 Players)
Hero bets $1.00, 2 folds, BTN raises to $3.00, Hero folds
Uncalled bet of $2.00 returned to BTN
Pot Size: $3.50 ($0.35 Rake)
I think the fold is the correct move there, but I'm trying to figure out what a realistic holding of his is that warrants that big of a raise. Is it possible I laid down the best hand to someone with a weaker jack, say KJ? With a rainbow flop and the preflop action, I'm thinking set. 2 pair would be really weak for this guy and given his aggressive style I think he would've reraised JJ's preflop, same with any of the bigger pocket pairs. Pocket 88's-10's may be a possibility as well. Hmmm, what do you all think?
