So his check raise is a little bizarre since he is only leaving himself .85 behind. Obviously I'm assuming if I call, the .85 is going in on the turn no matter what card comes, so my options appear to be fold or just put him all in.

Villain is 42/0/1.1 through 61 hands. His flop AF is only .83 though. Clearly his range is going to include a lot of suited cards. Is he doing this enough with just a draw to warrant the shove?

I put him all-in every time.

Did MP1 buy in short? Had MP1 made any loose plays w/ less than the nuts?

I'd be inclined to shove him in here if his history showed MP1 would do this with less than the nuts.

This was only my third hand at the table, so not sure if he had bought in short or was short from losing and was tilting. Had a few hands saved from another session that I had played with him, but didn't notice him do anything really out of the ordinary.

If he was deep you might fold this, but you are only risking $4 more to potentially win like ~$17 so it is an incredibly easy call. Surely he would be doing this with hands like QdK or even just QK etc enough times to make it a +EV call.
