MP1 ($2.93)
MP2 ($5.43)
MP3 ($1.37)
CO ($3.10)
Button ($5.61)
SB ($3.58)
BB ($4.74)
Hero (UTG) ($5)
UTG+1 ($8.44)

Preflop: Hero is UTG with A

Hero bets $0.20, 7 folds, BB calls $0.15

Flop: ($0.42) Q

(2 players)
BB bets $0.42, Hero raises to $1, BB raises to $4.54 (All-In), Hero folds

BB is 32 / 1 (!), no 3bets over only 50 hands. AF 1 (16%) but sample is tiny so maybe not reliable (preflop stats indicate passivity).

Thinking:
- I raised because I hated folding and hated calling even more. Passives tend to donk various stuff from low pocket pairs to absolute nuts (flopped straight comes to mind) so his reaction can be anything, calling being the worst for me since again I have no idea what that means. If he calls and donks turn I would probably have to fold unless I pick up something sexy (like Td).
- After he jams it is easy fold.

1. Line check? Do I fold here outright, call or raise?

Total pot: $2.42 | Rake: $0.12

I think fold OTF, only because he pots it.

You need to stop raising whenever you get nervous about a hand; it's a huge leak. If your hand is in the middle of his range it makes zero sense to raise and expose yourself to, well, what just happened. Seriously, you're getting 2:1 so just take your damn showdown value.

Yeah, this was bad. I have enough equity to call the flop and if I hit the K or a diamond I am looking good.

I think you should have folded. I mean the bb called your bet to 20 meaning he has something. In that kind of a flop he could easily have 2 pair, Q and T or even straight, but I doubt he had the straight since he bet pot and didn't check raise. Flat fold in my opinion on flop. But if you don't want to fold, call is the second best option, because on the turn you'll get a lot of information from what he does. If he checks its a good sign of him regreting, and u get to see another card. So fold, and if not fold call but just call.

The flop raise was not proper!! Your raising to a guy who called a big bet preflop and did a pot bet on the flop! If you play using your own advice I would be a very happy villain of yours. :D

Yeah agreed; raising is bad because when you get donked too (usually weak) it is either usually very weak or very strong. Either way; raising makes no sense because we fold his weak bluff hands and he shoves better hands so there is never any value for us in raising this spot.
