i would have shoved on the flop it may seem abit rough but it gets rid of the chasers, the turn has got you in a jam cause an over pair is now beating you as is a single 6, i'd throw the c-bet to see where i am and if shown any resistance fold in a hurry but thats just me.

That's me as well, you beat me to it.

The flop bet was good, and would hopefully be enough to shove out a six (What would YOU do with bottom pair and a pot size bet? talk about overcall. jeez) So I think the most you have to worry about at THIS point is an overpair. UTG limping in is annoying, since we have no idea what he has, but he smooth called a raise. Honestly I doubt it's an overpair though, unless he plays strong here.

I play this slowly, I fear a T-7 on the flop.

The 2nd 6 now screams boat or trips, and TP is easier to deal with because it is further from the nuts. A c bet makes sense, be prepared to drop this hand to a big bet.

Hmmm, and why do we want to get rid of the chasers? How about giving them poor drawing odds? Isn't that better? I don't totally disagree with the shove but not because you want the chaser to fold.

The real problem is having this pot 5-way. I think on the flop if you want to shove the better way is doing it with a check/shove, this way you do get some value for your top 2 pair and probably have only 1 caller at most, or even take it down after 1 or 2 players have thrown a $25/$30 c-bet. The $50 bet is fine but being that this is 5-handed things get complicated real quick, as happened here with 2 callers, although hindsight is 20/20 and its now easy to say this.

As played and with that turn that now puts you behind any overpair, I'd probably check and see what happens, which is for sure a weak move but you need to be careful with the CO who raised this to $10 PF and called your $50 flop bet. This guy, you need to give him credit for some kind of hand although it could just be 2 overcards and not a PP. Also we can't forget about the guy on your left. This turn card is a half disaster because it made your hand much weaker and you're up against 2 players, which makes it harder for a strong bet to be successful if you want to represent a monster.

I know its weak and you might disagree but I'd check this turn and reevaluate after any action from the 2 players.

Your first bet asked a question. You received 2 answers. Are you planning on ignoring those answers? It is possible - but unlikely they are both on flush draws.

Furthermore, the turn is likely to be putting you further behind to a large number of hands in the range of the callers.

Build a pot as big as you can when you KNOW you are winning. Minimise it when you are marginal/probably losing is a peice of advice that rings most true here in my opinion.

I understand the CB as the card is scary to both you and potentially them, but the prinicple of keeping pot low here is one that I think is long term better play. ( in general terms )

I don't see why you would bet 1/3rd of your stack on this flop and not push the turn on that card. If your willing to bet that much on that flop to begin with you miswell push (because your asking to be pot committed with this bet) on the next street unless you've got super reads on all the other players. I think you wouldve been better off check raising the raiser on the flop though if you look to invest your money in this pot, a check-raise will most likely get the middle player out.

Pot control like caliban said, unless you are SURE that one has apair and the other probably over cards, because even if someone has a set you lose too.
