Throwing Down Pocket Kings Preflop
I just won 3.02 in the Lucky Penny Tournament today, my biggest win! And of course I'm really excited so I go on to play at the tables. Soon enough I triple up and have 10 dollars. I get pocket kings soon after. I raise, I am re-raised all-in. I instantly called. Would anyone here actually fold pocket kings. I've seen it been done on T.V. because the guy surmised that his opponent had the aces, but would anyone really fold. I was playing very well, so I'm not too disappointed in myself...but the other guy had QQ and of course a Q comes on the flop and I'm done for all the money I took so long to earn gone.
If I have any advice it is to...as soon as you get lets say double or triple the table minimum, leave the table and go somewhere else and buy back in for the table minimum there, because you are going to get those Ks and they are goign to get those Qs and hit, and you're going to be pissed when you risked $10 instead of $2. Ha play it safe, unlike me!
But seriously, would anyone here have debated throwing down the kings at this point? (Blinds. .5/.10, I raise to .70, he raises all-in $10.)
