You play better poker at higher stakes?

Everyone says don't jump stakes til you've cracked the current level, but if you step up does it not force you to not make that one hero call too many?

Move up to where they respect your raises.

Nah, not really. You do grow as a poker player when you move up though. Hero calls are always fun when you're right, especially with A high.

I thought the level of ability to play was better at higher stakes. Barely if at all.

A few years back, I had to clear a lot of points on Carbon to be able to withdraw bonus money. I was playing heads up tournys one after the other. $20 was almost the same as $5.

If you don't have the proper bankroll for the desired stakes, then you can't play properly -- plain and simple.
