Should I have bet on 7th street?

This hand is terrible in lots of ways. I usually never reply to unconverted stud hands, it gives me a headache. Speed up your play, you should have raised to isolate straight off the bat, raisse before 4th is dealt, your hand need to be played fast up to 5th street at the mininum. Once 6th is checked i think betting 7th is fine.

You say it's terrible in 'lots of ways'. What you are saying is I should have raised on third street. After that I was doing the betting and just getting called. I don't see how this is "terrible in lots of ways".

You really need to get them to 5th as expensive as possible. You can also bet 6th AND 7th streets. Give that 6th was checked, you can value bet 7th (I know its the quesion in the OP). Theres lots of ways there Not meaning to be overly smart, but playing concealed big pairs with an ace showing can be played fast. Would you play KKK differently ?

If I had been rolled up, yes I'd basically jam the pot.

Ok I had this lengthy reasoning about why I'd play KKK differently, and once I read it I realized that they aren't all that different. For showdown value at these levels (and lots of people make it to showdown) I'm needing something minimum such as 2pr. Just like the KKK improving, I'm looking to pair up some of my cards on 4th street and beyond, which is the same as having AKK.
