Stats of Villain: VPIP 17% PFR 14% Agg 1.3% 3-bet 7.3%

C-bet was also 100% (although only from 4 examples) (would this count as a C-bet if I've re-raised? I'm guessing not, but wouldn't mind being certain as he was initial raiser.)

In hindsight this hand seems clumsy. Was trying to let him bet into me for value, but by the last street was quite uneasy about calling; but still uncertain. Had him on AQ and it stuck in my head to be honest. Given his stats I didn't think a 3-bet call with a mid pocket pair pre flop was in his range. Anyone have any idea how I should have dealt with this hand? Was I right or wrong? Furthermore, how right or wrong was I?

Thanks :)

*EDIT*: Looking at it again there was a lot more that could've cracked me than I initially realised in the moment of the hand; he may have had hearts or pocket 6s. Although as mentioned, I wasn't putting 6s in his range, and calling a 3-bet purely on suits seems unlikely, bar high suited cards.

When he bet big after the turn, I think I would have thrown it in. Trips have caught me off guard before - many many times. haha The way he was betting, especially in a 5¢ and 10¢ game would have indicated to me that he wasn't worried about the K and probably had trips or a str8.

I honestly think this is one of those situational hands where it depends on the player and how he had played up to that point, and what was on the board. I do not believe I call on the river though.

Yeah wasal know what you mean, sort of why i played it out. I think tbh I should've folded on the river but I got caught up in it a bit. He veered between ridiculous moves and quite sensible ones as well so it wasn't easy to figure out what he was doing. I think 100bbs might have been too big a price to pay.

with straight and flush draws out there as well as possibly him having pocket aces the way the betting went ,you would have to ask yourself what range of hands was tptk beating ?.......scorp

Top pair second kicker haha. Had that stuck in my head, not great practice. We're agreed it's not a caller then. If i'm as honest as I can be I'd say if I could've folded any street it would have only been the river. Can anybody say Unbiased they'd have thrown that on 3rd or 4th street? Flop was a call I imagine.

Ty for the advice and suggestions all :)

Stats of Villain: VPIP 17% PFR 14% Agg 1.3% 3-bet 7.3%
Agg% is really low,,,,,, this guy never bets post flop without a decent hand.
You 3-bet and hit tptk..... like 7 time out of 8 you are good here so bet for value on the flop. I would bet the flop like 80% pot and if called pot control check the turn and re-evaluate on river.
As played..... let it go on the river, flushes and 4 to a straight. No way a guy with that low agg is double barreling with AQ let alone bluffing the river...

lol nah I don't take things personal.. I read everyones response and try and take in what everyones got to offer :).

But you could've jammed river ... I mean 1 card for a straight and a flush

But depends how your image is mate. ppl see a flush out there and see me in the hand, they cant find the fold fast enuff cuz they know I got it *sometimes I don't* :)
