I apologize feitr. The player in seat 8 has not been showing much respect for my betting in previous hands. He usually ends up folding on the river or losing at showdown. He also has been raising pre-flop with a wide range of hands. I had put him on a middle or better pocket pair.

Not sure that I like calling the PF raise with QJo, however...

Assuming that I called his PF raise with QJo and if this was the read I had on him, then I'd lose the hand the same way you did. His range includes too many hands (most of which don't include a better Q or 22) to let this go.

The only tip-off we really get is that his turn raise now puts half his cash into this pot. But if he's been betting and calling down, we wind up discounting this fact a bit as well. I still lose the same way I think.
