A bit too aggressive but it would get some players out of the pot or they will all fold giving you a surprisingly decent pot.

I agree w/ that ^^^^.......there were already 6 people in the hand who all called the $1 raise so that would be a great raise ($10.50) to get @ least a few of them out. On the other hand you said this "very loose-weak table" so in saying that, raising (no matter what the size is) might not scare any of them out of the pot. I think w/ having a better than average hand like A Q, that is a good move & the way you played it, they might all put you on pkt AAs.

It also saves you money. if you get called I figure your playinga big Pocket pair. Easy to choose your actions from here.
