I had only just sat down at the table about 3 hands before this hand happened so i dont have much information on either of the players.

My thinking was that if he capped preflop and reraised on the flop Backbeat40 is likely to have an ace, or better and with masterbet calling the bets as well, one of them had to have an ace, especially as there are very few possible draws, or at least not any likely ones.

Do you think it was too tight of me to fold on the turn? Could I or should I have played the hand differently?

i assume this 5-10 FL

firstly u should have capped bet preflop, KK is 2nd best possible hand so u want to bet it here
personally i would not have raised flop, might have just layed it down, seeing their i so much action preflop u have to assume someone had an ace
u called on flop so i think ur committed to call on turn and river seeing that it really wasnt a danger card, just getting too much odds to fold

but those 2 players played their hands really really badly

Yes its a $5-$10FL 6-max table

I raised as much as I could preflop, the betting was capped by backbeat40
@$20. I strongly considered folding on the flop when it was re-raised but thought about seeing the action on the turn.

I figured with my initial raise on the flop I would find out if
backbeat40 had the Ace, was surprised to see the final result of the hand.

without any info on the villians i would have to assume one of them has an ace so i would fold.. a larger raise pre-flop could have defined the others hands better perhaps.. but like you said you had just sat down at the table..
