Well you took a stab at it - cant fault you for that. But UTG2 and all spades does not make for an inviting situation for you. I think you did the right thing folding though. =p

Ithink you did the right thing in both situations
I think you did ok by taking a stab at pot becuase if this guy has nothing you get the pot right there.

Situation two you knew to get rid of the hand when he came over the top of you so you did ok.

Your bet on the flop was probably a little too small, if he only had one spade he would be getting 4.35:1 odds to draw to his flush. If you're going to lead out on that flop something like 35 cents probably would've been better.

I didn't even think about if he had one spade and was drawing...

Your post-flop bet was too small. With a $.67 pot, I'd bet $.45. The $.20 bet looks weak, and is something I would probably challenge if I was in the villain's shoes if I had any high spade or even a gut-shot straight draw. Or if I'd seen any sort of post-flop weakness from you recently.

You stabbed at it, the information you got from your bet said "Hhe has you beat," so I think you did the right thing by folding.

But again, I'm left wondering if his re-raise was a reaction to your weak continuation bet, or if he really had a hand?
