I'm disappointed I won such a small pot do you think a check raise or a slowplay is a good play here? The problem is a free card is unlikely to give him a second best hand and even if he doesn't have a flush draw he could hit an inside straight. The pros of checking here I think are it might make him pay me off later if he has ace rag or queen - x, or he could hit a king on the turn

absolutely bet imo. You imagine that he called with 2 card j,t+ or a pp. So we arent afraid of the pp's which are going to let it go anyway, we need to bet to protect against jt+.

If we check and it is checked behind, what do we do when a kings, jack or ten hits turn, or a club, and we are faced with an all in bet?

I like to bet here as the board is drawy, but I don't like your flop bet size, make it around $1.70 or so. With the 90c bet you giving villain decent odds to draw out on you.

Yep your flop bet was too small, very draw heavy board, and ideal for a set. Bet out for around $1.50-$2.00 and shove on any raise. As played its a little too risky, if he calls and a scare card his the turn your in a lot of trouble.

He was likley set mining against you, nothing much you can do.

U made the Right move. Ive lost too many pots when i was a younger player to slow playing. I agree with tenbob, your flop bet was a little small also.

you have to bet to get the flush draws out and hope A-x calls.. if noone calls you win the pot then and there.. take the money and go on...

Ja - make mine another vote in the "bet it, and bet a bit more than 90c" camp.

You're likely to get action from a wide range of hands that you beat. Don't be too scared of the flush draw: if you charge them the wrong price to draw, you'll be making money in the long run, and even if they do hit their flush (assuming that's what they're drawing to) you've still got 7-10 outs to a boat.

If you bet and everybody runs away, so be it. On the odd occasion when you'll extract an extra bet from someone by check-raising, but in the long run, a flop like this will probably yield more value for you if you just bet it.
