1) I figure there is a lot in there all ready, plus three other players in there with deep stacks so was it right to call pre flop?

2) Also does it make a difference when working out implied odds of how much you can make all together from all the players or just the one who raised?

3) With all these players in there should i not set mine as there is a much higher chance of having a set over set if one of the villians had TT or JJ?

Sorry, I don't usually reply to the HH's that use the CC convertor as I find it next to impossible to follow.

You picked up nice pot here, but you had put $63 into a hand when you could only be hoping that you had the best hand. I don't see this play being a long term winner.

re set-mining (calling with a pair, knowing you are behind but hoping to win a monster pot when you do connect), I would suggest that it is a safer course to take on a full table that isn't as active at this one. You've got 7/1 odds to hit a set and you'd have enough implied odds here, but thats assuming you win when you hit. I think if you're honest with yourself, you just got dragged along into this hand, and then fired out, eyes closed to see if you could win.

The OP did not win this pot, he check/folded the turn.

imo this is not a good call here. You can definitely NOT count the other players in your implied odds, because the odds of multiple people stacking this hand is slim to none. The general rule I've heard is you should need ~12 to 1 for implied odds just because you're not getting a stack every time, but in this case you are barely getting the 8.5:1 you need, and that doesn't take into account set over sets.

Also, something's wrong with the HH as it seems to be 50c/1, and a raise to $4 is bumped to $18 and everyone calls $15. 18-4 = 14 last I checked. Either way, you normally don't want to be calling 3-bets with set mining hands, unless it's a tiny 3-bet or you know the 3-bet means AA/KK and will stack off low flop.

Ooops!

And yep, bets/pot sizes are always off using the Cardschat convertor.

Yeah, no offense or anything, but the CC converter really is pretty horrible. I always use legopoker's since the only mistake it makes is giving the stakes as 0/0, but it doesn't have the useless table graphic, unspecific raise sizes (is it raise TO or raise that much and again how does 18-4=15?), and in general just looks better.
