Nice hand to start, AJ is strong shorthanded. Raise, hit TPTK, bet it out and take it down.

Interesting. I think that your small c-bet telegraphed the strength of your hand here a little. Youve been c-betting a little bigger, I like keeping the bet sizeing the same once we actually do hit the flop hard. The flop texture is also not the most condusive to betting small, its very drawy and we need protect out hand to some extent.

Pretty standard. Open shove from a shortstacker. Folding is also fine here, we are usually racing 2 paint or any pair. This is much better though if we have raised first in, the dead money makes the play more profitable. Likey.

Oh God I wish nl$100 had more of these guys :) Calling with A9 here I think is bad, unless he had been doing this lots. If he had done this a few times over the last few hands then I think we can call here, we are only likely getting a small edge but thats all it takes.

I havnt seen you limp at all yet, this should be time for it though. Remember we can play these type hands for big hand value, and almost like a small pair they can flop huge. I rarely if ever fold here, and to mix up my game I also raise here occasionally. 56s is my 3rd biggest winning hand on FR to date only surpassed by AA and KK. This is probably one of the big disadvantages to playing lots of tables, you miss lots these little suprisingly good hands.

I think folding the small blind here is ok, seeing a cheap flop with a nice potential hand is better though. These hands play well post flop.

Hmmmm marginal enough stuff. Raise from EP is risky here, but you hand has potential. I HATE the flop call though, considering stack sizes and while we still have a little FE shoving the flop is better than calling.

And again. I dont get why you dont c-bet this, youve essentially lost all interest in this hand and give it up way too early. I think c-betting here is very profitable, we are getting called with the flush draw and Q and we even get the 9 off it lots.

IDEAL flop to donk bet at. You find out very quickly if your against an overpair, your likely against unimproved overs and you had is good lots. This helps making your small pairs a little more profitable than a pure set mine. A little more tricky to play but worth it occasionally.

Cliff notes.

All in all extremly solid Zach. No real mistakes that I can see, you are losing a little value in some hands, nothing major but thats to be expected when you multi-table. Id suggest dropping a few tables once you move up.

You also seem to have a few table seclection issues. Are you just getting onto first available ones ? All your tables seemed full of decent enough players and there was lots of TAGs on them all, I can get more action on nl$100 with over 4 times the amount of reg's. I dont see any glaring holes in your game though.

Nice session.

A few things I think you should have done that tenbob didn't already mention...

With QJ suited fold in EP but on the flop you weren't getting nearly 4:1 and I think raising him is better than calling. Btw, what happened on the turn? Four more outs were added for an inside straight draw. With 3 4 suited on the button I think this hand is just too weak to play, the cards are just too low. With 10 10, calling preflop if fine. Dangerous flop so good check. On the turn, I don't know why you bet. Are you trying to tell him the 5 helped you? You should just try to check this hand down. With 66 that was a safe flop, they both checked so they probably both have high cards, and if you don't have the best hand you have a gutshot straight draw and 2 outs for trips. So I prefer betting the flop but checking is ok I guess. Then they check again on the turn, and the second 5 probably didn't help them so I don't get why you checked again.

Hmmmm marginal enough stuff. Raise from EP is risky here, but you hand has potential. I HATE the flop call though, considering stack sizes and while we still have a little FE shoving the flop is better than calling.

I think you're right here about the shove rather than call, but my logic was that if I hit I get his money since he's a shortstack. This is not always true because a diamond is a scare card. If this was true though I'm getting implied odds. When he puts it all in on the turn I'm getting barely less than the odds I need, so I folded.

Pretty standard. Open shove from a shortstacker. Folding is also fine here, we are usually racing 2 paint or any pair. This is much better though if we have raised first in, the dead money makes the play more profitable. Likey.

FWIW (zac if you haven't already figured this out take notes :)) Hongz.. multi's a ton of tables at stars, always buys in for $5 (at $25 NL) and he basically sits around until he gets raised when he has 66+ or AQ/AK. And then he just shoves it preflop.

Thanks that's good to know. I've heard this is actually profitable. But anyway, I actually would usually fold TT to a shove like this, simply because I expect to see mostly hands that dominate me and hands I'm flipping with, with the occaisional crap hand. But I looked in my PT stats and he was classified as a "super-aggressor". That was all I needed to make that call, but now that I think about it, the way aggression is measured, where folds aren't considered, this makes perfect sense. If he almost never calls, and it's just a raise or fold, his aggression would be extremely high but he still may only be pushing premium hands.

And my stats confirm what you said too. 6.9% VP$IP and he's winning at 6.69 BB/100. Oh, and his total AF? 31.00

I didn't have odds to call. I rarely actually calculate the odds because I know in general what is a good play but this particular one I hit the time button and worked it out. I was not getting odds to call there.

With 3 4 suited on the button I think this hand is just too weak to play, the cards are just too low.
Define play. I have PAHUD up and if I'm folded to on the button and the blinds are relatively tight I will raise ATC. I don't intend on going to showdown in that situation, so the cards don't matter at all.

With 10 10, calling preflop if fine. Dangerous flop so good check. On the turn, I don't know why you bet. Are you trying to tell him the 5 helped you? You should just try to check this hand down.
I was trying to take the pot right there. I could have easily checked the flop slowplaying and then bet the turn after he didn't bet. Essentially it looks like that's actually what he did. He checked the flop and raised my turn bet. Unless he read me as stealing, I think he hit that flop and was slow-playing.

I'm trying to show down cheap there. I don't want to get involved in a hand like that. And you can NOT count the 2 6s as outs when it puts 4 to a straight on the board. Looking at it again though I easily could have bet rather than checked, and in this instance I would have taken it down. I'm just not willing to put a lot of money in to win a small pot, and I'm reluctant to bet into a multiway pot as well.
