This is a discussion on QQ utg in 25nl within the online poker forums, in the Cash Game Hand Analysis section; Stack sizes...me 22.85, villan 25.00.
me UTG with QQ raise to 1.25, folds to Button who raises to 2.50 and I call.
Flop 4 Q K rainbow.
Bet about the pot here. There is now a straight draw out there. I wouldn't mind taking the pot right then.

As played check raise flop, shove turn. Id probably lead out on the flop, as youve got a big hand and want to play a big pot. If hes got the aces or kings then thats unlucky but as so far hes raised 50% (2/4) of hands and at the very least seen a flop with every hand hes been dealt so far I hardly think we can limit his range to higher sets or the straight. Much more likley your against something like AK, AQ KQ or if hes really fish a weak K or A so im more then happy to stack here.

I think a c/r or a lead out for about 3/4 pot on the flop is your best option. If you lead out here, he'll either c or r. Either way, im getting all my money in at somepoint on this board, and if he flips over KK AA or 10j, nothing really you can do here.

I wouldn't advise trapping anymore in this situation. The way he has been playing he could have anything. The pot is a respectable amount of money and it wouldn't hurt to take it there and then. Remember is a J or 10 was to come out on the river it would be really awquard for you and from how you have described he plays i would bet he has the straight.

re: Poker & QQ utg in 25nl
Ok, we're all pretty much in agreement. I got the rest of my chips in on the turn. He called and turned over pocket AA. River paired the King giving him Aces over Kings to my Queens over Kings. Thinking it over I don't think anything I could have done would have mattered (short of folding to his re-raise pre flop). If I shove his pre-flop re-raise, he's calling and after the flop no way am I laying down the set of queens......just one of those hands I guess.
