4-bet ranges are pretty tight at 25NL and below. Im just mucking it pre and feeling pretty good about it. 4-bets at 25NL are almost exclusively KK/AA and here and there AK. 50NL is about the same, except more regs/players are willing to go with AK preflop. I've played 100NL for a bit but 4-bet ranges are still pretty tight, although there are people who spazz 4-bet jam 44 and stuff like that.

Generally when someone pots it preflop, they have a strong hand. And then when they 4-bet you, it's super strong. 4-bets in general are weighted towards value, and I'm mucking everything but KK/AA at 25NL. Only at 50NL/100NL did I start shipping in AK pre for 100bb, due to increased preflop aggression.

You aren't supposed to show the results in the thread. We can't give unbiased reviews of the hand.

Edit: I do realize this is not in the hand review section. However, how can we answer knowing what dude had?

4 bet ranges are pretty thin at these stakes. Did you really expect this guy to show up with AQ or AK? JJ? C'mon now.

Before you get yourself into situations like this, you need to know first what you're trying to accomplish here. Stacks are pretty deep, and you're not necessarily looking to play for stacks with pocket queens. Yes, you do have 3rd nuts pre, and that's mighty fine, but you can go hideously wrong by overplaying. Would this opponent stack off with worse here? Since he's an unknown, there's no telling.

I like the 3! since QQ can be very difficult to play OOP, but I don't think you need to go so much over the top. 2.00 -- 2.10 would be better. CO's bet/4-bet line looks damned strong. Could he take that line with anything queens can beat, like TT or JJ or AK? Against an unknown, I'd prefer flatting if the stacks were deeper. Flatting here can be OK, but it still looks marginal. I could definitely find the fold button, given this action, and the amount Hero would have to call off to see a flop. Hero doesn't make all that much for binking (the vill still has a respectable 81BB behind). Since CO is an unknown, no telling if he'd shut down and fold if a queen hits the board which would make this a heavily RIO situation.

Doesn't really make any difference. You can tell from the post title what happened: he didn't flop a queen and shoot down pocket rockets. No one posts about that. :D

Touche.

Even without the results, title whatever, I feel this is a pretty standard laydown. Maybe I'm a nit?

Your problem is evident in the way you have asked the question.

When you are in the hand you should not ask yourself if you should fold queens. You should ask youself "What worse hands does hero make this play with". Its only a slight tweak to your thought process, but it would probably have allowed you to find the correct answer.

At 25nl I would always fold here vs an unknown.

UNKNOWN player will not be fooling around , easy fold preflop after 4-bet only AA,KK,QQ, maybe AKs sometimes , qq it is not enough
