I also would have c-bet but the reraise is very concerning, especially with that board. He could easily have Kx or better. I might just call and see the turn but I probably would have pushed too. I think you played it fine.

Hero Beats 5.4BB, BTN raises to 10.8BB, Hero Call 5.4BB
Turn: (2 players) K♦
Hero check, BTN bets or check?

I'd particularly play it that way, and depending on the opponent's action on that next move, I might even fold that hand if I got too aggressive.

Hi. 66 hands isn't much, but it looks like the BTN was playing very tight (at least pre-flop). He has a pretty high percentage of pre-flop 3b when he plays so I'd probably think it was unlikely he had AA, KK, QQ, AK, or AQ. You kind of block any queens in his hand so I'd think it's less likely than normal he's on a straight draw and there is no flush draw. So I'd think most likely he's either raising with a bluff, or something along the lines of KJ, KT, JJ, JTs, or TT...unless he's very aggressive post-flop I don't know that I'd think it likely he'd raise with AJ, AT, or worse. Had you seem him bluff previously?

Given the above I would probably have called the flop raise, checked turn and see what he did.

That's what I'd be putting him on but my reads are always pessimistic lol. But yeah, ruling out premium hands and assuming he's not bluffing with air, something like KT suited feels pretty on the money.

I think i would've gone with a safer/ more passive approach and played check/ calldown as a bluffcatcher. no need to ga animal OTF in my opinion

Besides, by shoving OTF you give him his exit strategy in case he is bluffing..

Nice stack size mr.OP. None of the above posters haven't been able to notice this tells a lot about their analysis (no offense).
Please post these on the hand analysis section next time onward. Always buy in for max.

There are more strategies than only BSS, anyway thanks for your advice.

Unless villain is a known LAG, in my experience at these low stakes there's about a 99% chance that he has you beat on the flop, either with a pair of Kings (perhaps w/ Ace kicker) or 2 pair or a set or a made straight. Calling just barely made (pot odds) sense if you're hoping to make the straight yourself. Jamming made sense only as a bluff and only IF your read is that he only has the K and will be willing to let it go (which is extremely unlikely a these stakes, especially since both of you are short stacked).

For this spot postflop reads and AF would be interesting. If he minraises some bluffs here, I call the flop and check/raise AI the turn. Without reads, you're often beat OTF. I'd call the minraise and check/fold the turn.
