You really need to bet the Flop imo, then check fold the turn against an opponent like that if they call. As played it is a fold.

I'm not sure if you played this right, I think I would bet on the flop and turn.

There are 16/14/3 players at 5nl ??? Table select better, imo.

3bet bigger preflop to make your life easier. Pot-sized would be $1.02. I like my 3bet to be a bit higher than pot-sized when i have to play the rest of the hand oop, so make it $1.1

Then you have to cbet this flop 100% of the time.

As played, you can fold river.

I'd put him on an Ace. I think you've got to throw it away.

Ugly spot, but I think the advice given has been good so for next time:

- 3bet more, at least 3x the raise plus whatever else is in the pot
- Cbet that flop 100% of the time. You might even want to pot that flop.

As played ... toughie and I think I call him down because more often than not you're ahead here, and he might be betting the scare card (A).

I plugged the hand into pokerazor and as given it says that your hand is best 87% of the time and your equity in this round is 71%. Pretty compelling evidence to call ... but I think raising is a bad idea.

Was going to write exactly this, but he beat me to it

probably woulda taken the pot with a bet on the flop, but with an A and 3 spades, QQ probably no good, unless he was trying to bluff with a lower pocket pair

he had the set of 8s im sure since it was .2/.5 table and with your raise he hopes you have the ace he most likely has a set or even the boat with holding 89 when play these small limits whales come callin too play dam near any two cards raise or no and will see the flop and if they hit there hoping you did raise with a ace

Holy crap, our QQ is best that much of the time? Against a villian that tight, I'd think our hand is best a way smaller percentage of the time, but maybe I'm just stoopid.

What kind of range do you give villain???? We don't have stealing stats to evaluate his CO opening range, we don't have call 3bet stats to thin it down, and we don't have WTSD stats to evaluate his bluffing capibility.

First off I think I make it a little more preflop, like say an even $1. There are a lot of "any two cards" type of people at that level you need to either get them out or make them pay to get there. And without a doubt you have to bet that flop, thats really the mistake you made. But enough questioning your play, so to answer the question as it lays I think I fold. There are just too many hands that have you beat here.
