Looks like Dorkus' "hypothetical" board predictor software may actually exist!?

They both had a backdoor straight draw and an underpair draw on the flop, and one of them had a backdoor flush draw too! How it doesn't get capped on every street with those monster hands I'll never know.

On a serious note, shall we vote on the funniest part of the hand? Gotta be the raise from the BB with 3 limpers with 76 sooted for me.

No, joueuer31's call post flop trumps that easily - runner runner 6's or 7's or one of both are his only outs surely? Actually, i'm analysing it too much - he did this for 90% of the hands over about 35-40 hands - I joined with $30, left with $20, but it was worth $10 easily for the entertainment (I saved that picture as eh? also got ugh! and wtf? which i'll post if sufficient interest). - he got me with flush draws, inside straight draws, overpair draws, flopped sets, 2 pairs etc etc etc, and finished about $8 up when i left.

Yeah, point taken.

I still find the pfr the most hilarious though, even if it wasn't the 'worst' play in the hand. No idea why.

No, i'm stupid - didn't spot that if he draws the 8, a 5 or a 10 will give him a straight - that's why i lost and he won i suppose

It wasn't a bad raise pre-flop dorkus, just the minimal... think about it this way.. you raise miminal... that hand normally works better multi-pot..

A raise with 2 more callers in a way puts more people in the pot..

3 people at .25 makes it 3 people..

3 people at $1.50 makes it 6 people in the pot...

basically the raise makes more more people in the pot even though there isn't people in the pot giving the correct odds to play the hand.

So by raising the minimum and hoping the other 2 will call does put 2 others in the pot even though there is only 2 with you. Sounds screwy granted but I have done this before myself... I looked said I got sooted connectors with 2 others in the pot,, thought wait a minute here.. time to raise the mimimum at least to give me the right amount of people to play such a hand

Couple of problems with the analysis Twizzy. Firstly it was limit, so it was not a "minimum" raise - it was the only raise he could make. Secondly, once someone has folded, they cannot subsequently get back in the hand and call if the BB raises, so a raise after everyone has acted wouldn't put more people in the pot. Thanks for taking the time and effort though.

I have to admit I looked at the hand automatically assuming NL, but on reflection I actually looked at the stacks and betting and it became pretty obvious it was limit.

Shame, because for those initial couple of minutes I thought it was NL the hand was about 500 times funnier (not that it isn't funny as it is, of course). :)
