Playing the tight/aggressive style really does have it's benefits:
He told me after that he had JJ
villain is a smart, tight/aggressive player. I think that's the only reason my play on him worked; he actually had the brains to lay JJ down.

LOL, I don't know how he let that hand go. You must have been super tight to make him fold an overpair on that flop.

I personally would have reraised you back to see what you really had. He layed it down kind of easy. What did he think you had, the full house with the 10's?

i think he put me on a bigger pair :p
I reraised and bet pretty quickly too so maybe that was a "tell" for him.
Then again he might have been lying and had a completely different hand lol

I think if he reeeeeally had jacks, he probably didn't want to get his whole stack involved in this hand, which he essentially would have done by calling your raise on the flop.

Good hand though.

Nah. Either...

1) He's an incredibly weak-tight donk, or

2) He didn't have JJ.
