Whether it's profitable to call depends on the SB's style and on how much of a skill advantage you have. Card-wise, you can assume you're behind, but you do have position. So as a straightforward example, if you know he's a fit or fold type, you'll have quite a few chances to take the pot by betting after he checks the flop. But against a frequent c-bettor, you'll find yourself in a lot of situations that aren't favorable.

Against most opponents, I fold. But I'd lose less because my standard button open is less than 0.85.

Depends on villains 3betting tendencies - how often, how often vs BTN steal attempts, how often vs you (had you been making a lot of steal attempts?).

Do you use an HUD? If yes, you should provide us with the relevant stats.

I'm pretty much folding every time here though. J9s is best in multiway pots when you can see the flop fairly cheaply. It's good for steal attempts too, but I'm not calling 3bets with it.

I fold this to all but the wildest of 3betters 100bb deep. I mean like 14%+ with plenty of convergence.

Good fold, but you could 4-bet some villains.
