The biggest problem you have here is that you are out of position with a hand that doesn't flop very well. So seeing the flop cheap and hoping to hit a set of Kings is all you are really after.

Bottom two pair also isn't a great hand, there is a chance you are ahead here given that you raised (though its low limits so ppls hand ranges are kinda wide)

Whilst you might be ahead you are sweating nearly any turn card that isn't a king (though the money was in already). Anyone with a J might make a higher two pair, someone might have a set or hit one, a low card could make a straight etc etc

obviously ur Preflop raise screams of big pair, and rainbow board like that would have to put him on JJ or 66 in the hole or even something like 1010J6 knowing he had ur overpair beat right then. i would be hoping for K or 3 (may still have u dead) on the next two cards...

of course ive seen the same play made by QQXX,KKXX and AAXX...

Just out of curiosity, what levels do you play at? What would you say is the best hand to have PF?

AAKK double suited is the best preflop hand

well not when all in against each other. But i would say aajt double suited is a better hand on the basis you can hit a lot more draws and redraws with it and its easier to play than aakk.

I class them as equal best.

Its like in holdem, 22 is better than a,k although people would rather a,k in early position even though its the worst hand. Do you see what im getting at??

just yanking your chain

the biggest issue with AAKKds is that you hold the nut and second nut flush if you make it

To get back to the hand in question KK rag rag is not a raising hand out of position IMHO, it is actually very weak, you only have two playable cards, no fl or str8 draws to speak of (K hi fl is not nuts). Raise to steal OK, but when he showed strength on the flop you could seriously consider folding -- only reason to call was he was felted, and couldn't hurt you any more with his set (when u catch 2 pr on the river -- ow).

Wow.

Reads on the villain are important here, I think - this has gotta be either a flopped set (probably with JJxx, since he called a raise pre-flop and you've got 6-3 in your hand) or a draw. A better two pair is an outside chance.

If it's a set you're in dire shape. If it's a draw, however, you're in fantastic shape. You're ahead now, and you've got redraw outs as well.

If there's a decent chance villain will make this move with a draw, then I think we can call.

As for the raise pre-flop, it's a difficult one. I could be wrong, but ideally wouldn't we like to play a hand like this heads-up? With that many limpers it's unlikely we'll be able to clear the field out significantly, so we'll still likely have to play the pot multi-way and OOP. The alternative (just checking and taking a flop against multiple opponents, still OOP) is kinda distasteful too though.
