Villian has played one round. Semi aggressive. Wasn't too sure of his range. Board has draws in my favor.

well u have to call 1.50 into a 6.50 pot
tbh i would like a little more of a draw to call here, so i would fold but a call with those odds wouldnt be that bad

Board has draws in your favour?? You have a gutshot, underpair and runner runner flush draws. Basically you have 4 outs since your queen could easily complete k,j or may be drawing dead to set of ace.

So ye you have 4 outs, easy fold.

Fwiw, i check behind on the flop since by betting we are turning our hand into a bluff

I was wondering, what you would put Villian on?

2 pair and sets. Your draws are not good here and I don't understand your flop bet, other than like Switch said as a bluff. So your bluff was raised and you don't have odds to call so you fold.

yep, you still have nothing and have now missed both your runner runner flush draws. Villain can't even be semi bluffing a hand, except a,k,q,j, but that still has you beat so fold

To me, from his previous play, I believed he was buying the pot. These hands I'm showing are the ones I'm really learning from. Some of them are real stinkers so go easy on me.

*** RIVER *** [5c Ts Ah 6d] [Js]
Bullterriër: bets $15.35 and is all-in
klitkat: calls $15.35
*** SHOW DOWN ***
Bullterriër: shows [6s Ac 2s 6h] (three of a kind, Sixes)
klitkat: shows [Ks Qs 5h Qh] (a straight, Ten to Ace)
klitkat collected $50.15 from pot
*** SUMMARY ***
Total pot $52.70 | Rake $2.55
Board [5c Ts Ah 6d Js]
Seat 1: klitkat showed [Ks Qs 5h Qh] and won ($50.15) with a straight, Ten to Ace
Seat 2: repes (button) folded before Flop (didn't bet)
Seat 3: Bullterriër (small blind) showed [6s Ac 2s 6h] and lost with three of a kind, Sixes

So if you saw this starting hand just what would you have thought? I know I got lucky here.

you wanna play this hand for set potential otherwise its kinda weak tbh, looks nice doesn't play well

you could try and steal it with a cbet on the flop as its fairly dry but its 4 handed

your bet on the flop is rubbish, it screams that you are scared and betting for info, though its just telegraphing weakness

a pot sized bet will get you much more info on the strength of your opponents hand and may even take the pot, if you are called or raised you can pretty much assume you are behind

the call on the turn is awful, even if he is trying to buy the pot, what are you beating? losing to any hand with an ace in it, 2 pair, a set, and most cards that come on the river aren't really going to be any help for you

should have folded when you were raised on the flop, got lucky on the river

so either check fold after seeing that flop, or stick in a proper continuation bet

pretty bad hand you have here again. no reason to raise preflop and 0 reason to leadout or even think about calling the raise on the turn.
