This is a troublesome hand. I'm not sure if I played this right. Don't have many reads on villian. Actually I probably played it all wrong but I'm learning.

Without a read, I think you have to fold the turn. By smooth calling flop, most villains will have a set. No one should call your flop bet without a set or possibly the nut flush (although that hand should raise). Wait for a better chance to get your money in good. PLO is about making folds in situations like these. If you can't make this fold, you should not be playing PLO imo.

Yeh, folding the turn is a good idea, drawing to two cards is a nono.

You have to fold the turn. I'm not sure about the 3bet preflop either but once you have I like your flop bet. When he calls the flop bet and leads out on the turn you have to fold. He's showing tons of strength and has committed himself to the pot.

don't rr with KKxx preflop imho

bet pot on the flop, then fold turn

pot would have been smaller, saved some money

as the others said the only hands that are going to be betting out at you when the board pairs like that are a full house/quads or the nut flush

second nut flush on a paired board == probably no good, only really beating a bluff and at this level its not that likely

^^ this but 1 thing tho, the bet on the flop is good but why the 3 bet preflop, all u have is a pair of kings and 1 flush draw

I don't mind the 3bet... generally at these stakes, if there is no 4 bet, then you generally are not up against AA. Good info to have on those AKx flops.

PLO is a flop game at heart. Hardly any hand preflop is a massive favourite over another. The flop defines your hand so much more.

There are so many bad flops for KKxx getting lots of money in preflop isn't a fantastic idea.

At these stakes you could easily end up with a 4 way all in (hell it happens at $1/2) in which case none of the 4 hands is a likely big favourite. The amount of times I have seen AAxx KKxx lose to just a ragged low two pair is unreal.

Remember this isn't holdem ;]

I'm learning. Needless to say I lost here.
But from this comes BBB's rule #1 of PLO. If a pair flops on the board and you do not have a chance in hell of getting a boat then fold. Because most likely your opponent has that boat.

I don't understand the reraise preflop your hand really isnt that strong in PLO I think you should flat take flop bet pot and then fold the turn.
