I am hoping for some insight as the best way to play this type of hand. The Villain has gone in every preflop for the last 15 hands. He has gone from a high of $29 to $9.60 in that same stretch. Hero recently doubled up 3 hands ago atthe Villain's expense. The hand started as follows:

Full Tilt Poker Game #3594330313: Table Homestretch - $0.05/$0.10 - No Limit Hold'em
Seat 1: A ($1.95)
Seat 2: B ($3.15)
Seat 3: C ($6.15)
Seat 4: D ($12.05)
Seat 5: E ($4.65)
Seat 6: F ($16.40)
Seat 7: Hero ($4.70)
Seat 8: BB ($4)
Seat 9: Villain ($9.60)
Hero has 5 seconds left to act
Hero posts the small blind of $0.05
BB has 5 seconds left to act
BB posts the big blind of $0.10
The button is in seat #6
*** HOLE CARDS ***
Dealt to Hero [Qh Jc]
Villain calls $0.10
A calls $0.10
B folds
C folds
D folds
E has 15 seconds left to act
E folds
F calls $0.10
Hero calls $0.05
BB checks

Please comment on the first move. I will attach the Flop and post flop moves after a few responses.

the call is appropriate here, I do not see anything wrong....limping in there is the right play IMO....but some of the more experienced CC members may tell you otherwise

there is a lot of dead money in the pot so lets look at our options 1st.

A. raise = this is a very aggressive move and will work sometimes, the problem with this is if we raise and get called by anyone we are OOP the entire hand and if we dont hit flop hard like 2 pair or better we really dont know where we stand in hand.

B. call= This will most likely be the most standard play but like option A we need to hit flop very hard to continue here. Top pair kinda sucks because the other guys limping range include hands like KQ and sometimes at a weak table AQ.

c. fold= I personally see nothing wrong with you folding this in SB, some may concider this weak because we are getting great odds to call but I can see you folding to keep yourself out of sticky situations.

my 2 cents.

Since villain is a calling station PF, raising isn't a good move because it'll leave you playing the rest of this hand OOP with QJo.

I'll call this just about every time but keeping in mind to be cautious and fold unless you hit the flop hard (trips, 2 pair or some kind of draw), or else this hand will end up costing you way more than the 5c to see the flop. This is a mistake that players often make. While its justified to call this from the SB in a cash game because you're getting 9 to 1, you need to make sure you don't go too far with this hand after the flop, turning it into an expensive mistake.

Check is fine IMO. Keeping in mind joe's advice above.

One other thing to mention is the danger of flopping 2 pair may give someone else a nice straight draw, or maybe even a made straight (QJ8 for example) especially when the 2 cards are high.

Sorry for the delay in posting the next part of the hand. Long work hours this week. Here it goes:

*** FLOP *** [Jd 5d 6s]

Hero bets $0.25
