i figured if he had AQ/AK or better he would try a move on the flop, and with AJ or a medium pocket pair he would cold call down. did i do anything wrong here?

3.10 pot, I don't think you did anything wrong. ~2.50 is a fine amount on a draw-heavy board (especially for a loose player like that who probably plays suited connectors every possible chance).
Good hand, I don't see anything wrong with it.

Is this a hand i check and hope he semibluffs at with a hand like 89c 910c or j10c? he does have one of the higher agg. factors at my table according to pt and gametime (mine's a 2.7 and he's now at like 2.2)

Just out of curiosity, what if you check and this time he decides to opt for the free card? Not saying he would but what if he did and then hit 2 pair for the sake of getting a free card?

he had a habit of minbetting with even as little as middle pair no draw, but i guess betting was the right move

lol I hate mini betters... if I have a hand and someone I see who mini bet is acting ahead of me.. I always squash the crap out of his mini bet cause normally they love to call..

And why all of a sudden the craze for the mini bet? you gain no info, and you let others basically see a card for really cheap, mini bet is a pot sweetner for flush and straight draw chasers.. I say screw that and make them pay or the mini better pay to chase..
