I don't like your initial raise to $4 honestly but when it comes back to you again you're not allowed to raise again because krendel27 didn't have enough left to reopen the betting.

I've forgotten the all-in raise rule. Is it that you can't reraise if the all-in was less than the previous raise or is it if the all-in was less than half the previous raise?

Anyhow, if it's legal to shove here, I'd shove.

I'd say the only reason to just call with AKs here is to give yourself a chance to make a better hand fold after the flop. However, there's really no chance of that, because you'd be giving better than 5:1 on a call if you shoved the flop. Even if the odds were less generous, you're in position after the flop, meaning he could shove before you get the chance to try to make him fold.

It's tempting to think that it's more profitable to give yourself a chance to get the money in after hitting an ace or king on the flop. However, if there's a 100% chance that you and your opponent will both get all your chips in on the next street, it has no impact on the outcome if you get the chips in now or then.

P.S. - I just thought of another reason to call. There's a small chance that your opponent will check down the best hand the whole way and you'll save money in the cases where you lose. However, that seems nearly impossible to me. If he's that crappy a player that he'd just check down a pair, then there's probably also a chance he has AQ and you have him crushed. So I still say just get it in.

You need to take into account Krendel's stack size when you 3-bet him PF. You either want to put him all in preflop, or make a raise that's big enough for him to 4-bet shove to.

So your options are to raise it to 2.70 so that he can shove in his remaining $5.50, or just raise to $6.20 with your 3-bet. If you pick an amount in between, then his shove doesn't re-open the betting for you to get the rest of your stack in.

Given the two callers in front of you, I just shove all my chips in.
