Hero ?????

What's our move here? I've only been at the table for a little over 1 orbit and don't have much of a read. From what I've seen thus far though villian is usually very aggressive and has played almost every hand. I'm thinking middle pair given the action so far. I really can't see AA or KK since there was no preflop raise. You would think over cards or a draw wouldn't call the flop, but stranger things have happened. If he has middle pair he could be putting me on over cards and pegging my bet on the flop as a standard c-bet and hence he may think he's good. If that's the case though, why not bet the turn? If he's got TT's or 77's well, so be it. At this point it's one of the few things that makes any sense. So, what's your thought on villian and what's our move?

The pot is now bigger than your remaining stack size, and you still have an overpair, any bet will commit you and your not folding, so you might as well shove imo.

That's pretty much what I was thinking. I seem to struggle though, whether it's bad luck or my own play style (probably a combination of both) with people check calling and then showing down a better hand. So, I'm wondering if i'm on the right track trying to reason out his holding and what he may be calling with.
