Hero ???

I was multi-tabling multi sites, but I didn't notice anything unusual about CO. UTG I have played before. I know him to be tight/passive; one of those players that only play their best hands and then hope that it holds up.

What do you think UTG is min-check-raising with? As CO is tight/passive, am I behind CO?

Maybe he put you on high cards and was trying to go above you...

Given your read on UTG, my guess is that he has you beat with a set, but I would probably call and try to see a cheap showdown. Although, you dont want to give CO correct odds to chase a draw here, this is a tough situation. Against a looser, more aggressive player Id probably reraise here, and from what Ive seen, check/min reraise is usually weak. If you reraise the UTG here and he pushes on you, you will most likely be pot commited.

K, I'm an idiot, or, I got myself confused.

Correction in bold.

Since CO called, he has some kind of hand although it could be a draw. JJ maybe, or two high diamonds?

But what does the check-minraise say to you?

The way UTG played this hand makes me think he is betting a draw. Maybe it's just a weird semi-bluff move from him. If he was being tricky with aces or kings pre, then he would have limped and re-raised pre, so I think you can rule those out. I would think that you are ahead of his range but I always have a hard time with these min raises.

I would probably put him on something like Ad10d or 9 10, something like that. I probably just call the flop bet though and re-evaluate on the turn. If he's on a flush draw and doesn't hit the diamond on the turn, then he's probably not firing a second bullet.
