Well, with villain calling a 5x BB raise as well as an $8.00 re-raise, I am hoping it's not 95o. He never raised pre-flop, so either this is a big pair that he was slowplaying or a marginal holding that he wanted to play against his (or maybe our?) better judgment.

AJo?

A, 9.

By the way, I think you should have checked on the trun to see hwat the Villan would do. You tried a continuation bet so now let see where the villian stands. Save yourself some chips.

The only problem with that T1, is that some villains will interpret that as a classic c-bet and then do it right back to you on the turn. Tough to know where you stand. I find with a c-bet, you either continue on the turn or you're effectively abandoning it to any bet...

This is a dangerous ploy. I've been burned many times by players calling a c-bet on the flop only to carry through my check and get a free card to complete their flush on the river.

I'd suggest either put in another c-bet (a c-c-bet??) or check/fold.
What I can never get right is.. how much to bet? You want some fold equity without risking your stack, right? Would a 1/3 pot bet look too weak?
