You played this way too slowly. Bet the flop and you'll get calls from people with straight and flush draws.

you're right but i chose not too because i wasnt sure if i would get any callers. Obviously i was wrong but in omaha alot of people dont go after their straight and flush draws, unless sf, on a paired board... atleast i dont.

Fold preflop. Yes you got lucky and hit quads so it seem kind of silly to say you should have folded preflop but that's being results oriented. You really had a pretty bad omaha hand here. Your possible flush draw was low which means it's pretty easy to have second best hand and lose alot of money. One small pair which will likely only hold up if you hit quads. Any full house you may hit is also likley to be second best.

So you have a small pair that is easily dominated, a flush draw that is easily dominated, no straight draws............fold.

Snake is spot on. This isn't a good Omaha starting hand and you got very lucky. That said, I think you played it just fine. I've played the .10/.25 on Stars and most paired boards will fold opponents. Smokingjack isn't going to commit much more to this pot if he folds to a .75c bet, and you got max against Kingkong.

I agree with the notion that you played way too slowly. In omaha you are actually supposed to chase your flush and straight draws a little bit harder in hold'em, if you bet the flop you reallly might not have gotten any callers, but at least at the very least raise more than 25 cents on the turn, otherwise the pot size on the river is incredibly small to bet with.

I love omaha hi/lo and lately have made some good money at it... i think it is all about how you play in omaha i am really agressive so people call me with weak hands and i win bunchs!

i realize it was a garbage hand but I only played it because I was in small blind, and literally said (thought) to myself that this hand is only good for quads. Then flop came and as mike sexton would say, bingo bongo bango.

I fold this 100% of the time in any other spot.

Omaha is so much more exciting than hold 'em just for the reason that you get much better hands so much more often. Quads aren't all that uncommon.
