Decided to play a little omaha this morning before the Top 10 tourny and sat down at a table that was crazy. People were running the pot up preflop, going all in with A2, just crazy. I built up 42 Titan points in the first 7 hands just watching. Anyway had a couple of hands that I thought were interesting. How many outs are there and how should I play this?

A diamond would make the nut flush - 9 outs. 10 would make the nut straight 3 outs (dont double count 10d). That's 12. 2 Kings would make full house, but not the nut full house. And 2 more 5's make another full house - again not the nuts. So 12 for the best hand, 4 more for a better hand than you've got.

= Pot it. Prior action would be helpful though.

16 outs from 44 cards does give me the right pot odds not counting the implied odds I get if I do hit a card. It is a lot to figure quickly and I am still not comfortable with omaha yet so I just checked here. 5 came on the river and then I potted it with 1 caller and I won. I was thinking that any 5 on the river was the nuts but obviously not if opponent has pocket Js, Qs or Ks.

1) There's a chance you currently have the best hand, thus rendering your maths somewhat irrelevant.

2) Your maths also make no allowance for fold equity.
