Let me preface this by saying I suck at cash games, but I never let that stop me.

bodog so no HH.

NL10
UTG+1 ~ $14
MP1 ~ $9
I'm the big stack at the table with ~ $16.50

UTG+1 (65/10 over ~30 hands) raises to .25

MP1 (25/8) calls

I'm in BB with :as4: :ah4: and raise to $1.

Both players call.

Flop comes: :2s4: :3h4: :4h4:

I check planning to check raise and UTG+1 goes all-in!

MP1 folds.

Call or fold?

I do a Phil Helmuth and push my chips in as fast as possible. You are more likely way ahead here than way behind and even if you are behind you have outs.

Fold.

You dont call off your stack with an un-improved overpair. Especially when its a 130xBB shove. Otherwise your spewing implied odds every time you hold one.

Well, I started to think about what he might have to make such a huge raise but before I got too far my finger had already clicked the Call button.

Of course he shows me :3d4: :4d4: ! Ouch I've just called off my entire stack with a single pair. So dumb.

Turn is :kh4:

River is :9h4:

Yes, what a brilliant call. I'll take your stack buddy!

Anyway after I calmed down from my major luckout, I looked back at this hand and realized that though most would make this call every time, it was probably pretty bad. I mean I only had $1 in the pot when he pushed and with his aggression I'm sure I would have found a better spot to take his $$. I really need to at least think before throwing my $$ away, I do know that.

Thanks to all who responded.
