re: Poker & ok i'm asking for help
Did you ever want to find out where you stood in this hand? Or were you just hoping to hit your A or Q? Having said that, I guess the answer is fairly obvious... you were hoping to hit your A or Q. Making your hand on the flop is great, but with big cards you want to narrow the field so that if you do hit your hand you're not up against some random 2-pair junk hand. So rather than a min. re-raise, a bigger pre-flop re-raise would have been in order.
Then after seeing a troublesome flop and a min. bet from your opponent that would have been a good time to put in a probing raise of 1/3 to 1/2 the pot to see if you might have been ahead. You need to raise to find out if your opponent has a J (or possibly AA's) or not. If he does, you need to get out of there before you hit your A or Q and lose your entire stack.
But since you didn't raise on the flop and again seeing a min. bet from your opponent on the turn, a raise would have been good there too.
Since you didn't make any kind of raise that would have given you any information during the hand, this could have been a very costly hand if you had hit your card.
