J5o? nahh..... (sarcasm )
I've got thousands of hands on this guy, and by this time had raised his blind like 1000000 times without contest (often with worse hands). I was just trying to get under his skin.
His check-raise was really quick and 'scary looking', as in he wanted it to look like he hit it hard. As was his turn bet.
The flop call was a little iffy, my guess is that it was 50/50 whether or not my read was right, and I decided to call it and reevaluate on the turn to see what he'd do. What I didn't want to do was show that I'd give up on a c-bet.
The third jack could have been a real disaster (had he had 33,66 or a bigger jack), but I think a set plays it differently, and it's pretty unlikely he's got the case jack. I was 90% sure he had a middle pair; something like 99. Who knows, he could have laid a trap with QQ+ and decided he was beat on the turn.
I think the 'best' play would be #1 to fold PF, but as played I should have smooth called the turn and called a river bet. with 33, 66, J3, J6 and J7+, I'm toast and he'll call. With a middle pair, he may fire out a third bullet on the river and I can safely just call. The reason I pushed was just to further advertise my maniac image. Even in the chat box the dude was typing a whole lotta stuff and I could tell he was frustrated as hell just where I want him.
Never stacked him that session, but took a good number of pots from him and hope to play with him again soon. I think I played like a dozen pots with him, all of them he caved save one where my c-bet got check raised (again, after this hand) and I had to toss my hand which completely missed the flop.
