You bet $3.00 into a $12.85 pot. You may have thought you were value betting, but over 4 to 1 odds is good enough to call with a lot of holdings like flush and straight draws. Now the pot is $18.85 and you lead out with $3.00? The call on the river is just bad, IMO. Both the straight and flush got there on the river and you have one pair. What can you truly beat? Yeah, he could be bluffing
, but as played, to me, that river reraise screams you've lost. You were going to lose money on that hand, no doubt. But I think you could have lost a whole lot less.
