Very unusual hand I think with people going all in at various points in the hand creating side pots.

I think I had odds to call this down. Did I?

fold, against that many you almost certainly behind. And would only be winning nobbats bets if you make it to showdown. Looks to me like a donk try to slow play TP which happens alot at $25NL.

Have to fold preflop, the flop is most likely gonna hit someone's overcards to your pair and you really only have 2 outs and would probably split most S8s and FH isn't even in consideration here. If those between Kai and you had folded then I call for heads up.

As played, fold the turn. That Q hit someone and just be thankful you got a free turn card.

WOW, never seen so many people calling a bet that large before. At that point I think you almost have odds to just set mine. I don't mind the call there, but as soon as one over comes, you have to assume you're drawing to at most 2 outs.

Jeez man, put in another 50K hands at $25NL!

just kidding, it happens alot when i play, i think at one point there was a $175 pot when 3 $25 stacks and 2 $50 stacks got it all in p/f. was sick, something like AA v. AA v. KK v. QQ v. some donk with really crappy cards, cant remeber what exactly but it was like 85o or something. If i wasnt lazy I would get a HH but meh, I am lazy.

nobbat: shows [7h 7d] (two pair, Sevens and Deuces)
Irexes: shows [9s 9d] (two pair, Nines and Deuces)
Irexes collected $28.85 from side pot-2
Somina33: mucks hand
Irexes collected $3.50 from side pot-1
kai711811: shows [Jc Jh] (two pair, Jacks and Deuces)
kai711811 collected $31.65 from main pot
*** SUMMARY ***
Total pot $67 Main pot $31.65. Side pot-1 $3.50. Side pot-2 $28.85. | Rake $3
Board [6h Qc 2h 8d 2d]
Seat 1: kai711811 (big blind) showed [Jc Jh] and won ($31.65) with two pair, Jacks and Deuces
Seat 2: -RoyalPrim- folded on the Turn
Seat 3: pedro41 folded before Flop (didn't bet)
Seat 4: Somina33 mucked [Jd 5c]
Seat 5: bunker408 folded before Flop (didn't bet)
Seat 6: TrippyHH folded on the Turn
Seat 7: nobbat showed [7h 7d] and lost with two pair, Sevens and Deuces
Seat 8: buff74 (button) folded before Flop (didn't bet)
Seat 9: Irexes (small blind) showed [9s 9d] and won ($32.35) with two pair, Nines and Deuces

So I came out of the hand ahead, but it took donk number two to do it.

My feeling was that I was playing for set value pf and then after that the bets weren't big enough relative to the pot to fold. This combined with the possibility of winning the side pots kept me going.

Odd hand.

You can't call Nobbat a donk without admitting to be a donk yourself. He had 7's, you were only marginally better with 9's. He was applying all of the pressure post flop (though into a side pot!) and you were just calling. He could have flipped over a whole host of cards which would have had you beat, and then you wouldn't have posted this.

 at Somina's call with J5os - that's just insane. Fact of the matter is, that it's people like this that apply the profit most of the time, not your own ability.

Let's crunch some numbers..

Initial call out of the blind is automatic and standard here..

after the big reraise and calls coming back around we are looking at a pot of $28.50 and a $4.80 call. So we are looking at almost 6 to 1.

Implied odds? Well.. stacks look like this:

Kai: all-in
Royal: $10.30 behind:
Somina: $1.20 behind (pretty much guaranteed he'll be all in here)
nobbat: $16.25 behind
Trippy: $19.45 behind

So this call is fine at this point just as a set mine. I think it's pretty absurd though to think you aren't beat by at least one or two of them preflop.

The flop isn't terrible for you, pot is $33.30 after your call pre. good idea to check oop into 4 opponents. Check-down has to look good on that board, probably no QK/AQ out there. What do you do here if someone bets out strongly? I'd probably have to fold here as I'm almost certainly beat or will be by the river.

Turn check around to the guy on the end who fires off a pretty dinky bet of $7.. this could be alll sorts of hands. I don't entirely mind the call here at this point since it's again slightly less than 6:1 and after the turn check around only hand the 8 helps is 88 really. A couple of them get out as would be expected, and the $1.20 does only thing he can do and call.

The $9.25 on the river you pretty much have to call cause of pot odds and because villain will do this with again all sorts of hands. I'd expect to see AK high, almost any pp, a busted flush/straight draw, a slow played set etc etc. It's highly unlikely the 2d helped him and I doubt he checks a Q if he had it on the flop. So at this point there's a reasonable chance you have him beat. I wouldn't be really happy about calling the $9.25 but you are almost forced to here.

Pretty much my thoughts Tyg, hated the call on the river but was pretty much automatic.

And who says I'm not donk no.2 Rob?

You played it pretty crappy after the flop to be quite honest. If you don't think he has the Queen then you need to be check-raising him off his hand on the turn. He "probably" has you beaten but you've decided to play this one out apparently so taking the most passive line imaginable isn't going to help you much.

Btw, I didn't see you posted results earlier so my post isn't results oriented in the slightest. The point is when you are making a bad play such as the one you did you might as well bring in the fold equity instead of check-calling all the way down like a donkey.
