If I've read this right, the villain doesn't have much left behind after his river bet.

So if you're going to call the river, I think you may as well just put him all in. Yes his betting pattern fits a full house, but it could also fit a lower flush (say, K-rag or QJ suited), so I think the call's justified.

Yeah there's plenty in his range to make pushing the river pretty standard actually. Top pairs, two pairs, smaller flushes, even slowplayed overpairs.

Fairly tough river decision, but I'd put him all in. There are still plenty of hands we beat that play this way.

My main question is why not lead out on the turn? Wouldn't you be scared of hands like AT or JJ+ that would raise the flop, checking behind on the turn?

The hand is fine as played but I would put him all in on the river.

Isn't the check raise on the turn a bit small? When you turn the flush and you think your opponent has trips or 2P shouldn't we size the raise a bit bigger to make his odds worse than were given here? With his aggression I agree with the check raise but I'd like to play for most/all of his stack w/ the nut flush.
