He goes and checks the river................ Villian is 37/16/1.5 over 200 (ish) hands, and is a winning LAG. Flop and turn calls was to rep strength, and especially since the turn bet was weak sauce.

i like the bet, the way he played it seems to indicated flush draw that he missed or even a pair of jacks with mediocre kicker, i think the bet is large enought to get him to fold there if he has the jacks but if he has a queen ur getting called 4sure{but i doubt he has a queen}

on another note how are u sitting at a 50c-1$nl table and "iam8yearsold " is not there,i get the feeling he is a bot because he plays every night, 10 tabling but again i thought i was a good poker player

it's not all that believable. you're raising any big hand on the flop or turn on the incredibly drawy board. and there's little reason for him to think you liked the deuce. your line looks exactly like a missed draw, actually, even though that's not what you have. good LAGs and TAGs alike love to check/call this river and let the missed draw take a stab

Not really believable (no raise anywhere when the second heart falls ? this screams weak hand wanting a showdown or drawing hand) and I doubt we fold a quenn/jack often enough for this to be profitable since a lot of his one pairs hands have good kickers (due to raise in the blinds + low AG). Probably the only hands we are folding are hands we beat anyway.

77-TT might be folding this a good enough % of the time for it to be profitable though (and it makes a nice part of his range due to small turn bet). The only thing we gain if he folds is that we now have the image of someone who might take stabs with missed draws. I would check behind myself since betting this is very, very thin for value and is a costly bluff in a smallish pot.

And I'm not a fan of open limping 66 in MP. 66 is probably a fold for me there and a raise if I'm off the CO by seat.

Agreed, but i get the Jack, 10's< to fold out. Especially against his range, id have the feeling that this play was fairly neutral perhaps slightly -EV, i just couldnt help myself, I wanted to abuse my roccky image a bit. Villian insta folded.

Why ?

I'd probably read his hand as a draw after his weak turn bet and raise him there, rather than betting the river. That way you charge him to draw and fold out 77-TT more believably. Although I'm pretty sure your hand was good here anyway.

Pre-flop limp is fine.

Rephrase this: 66 can be a fold for me since I'm not assured enough people in the hand for it to be profitable and I'm not under any contractual obligation to take what will likely be worse than 8:1 on my money to set mine. The rake is brutal in these games and limping here gives us no FE + overcards will almost always flop, wich means we need both pot + implied to make this profitable. Also, raising might have us steal the blinds/button (altough very unlikely), wich can be an advantage.

In reality, nobody ever folds this and in retrospect, I'm ok with limping it to encourage overcalls.

Don't forget that this is full-ring, which is basically set-mining. You can't set-mine if you fold pairs.
