This dude was omg insane. 70/20/8. He got his stack by getting squeezed between AA and QQ with 62sooooted. I was a little card dead on 13/4/1.

Wow limped pot = danger. How come you limping here Liam, strange line no? 70/20/8 spell's all types of crap, he could literally have anything here, 82, K8, A8,22. For me it's a call b/c he could have any of these but he could also be doing this with air. Call.

Cause he's a loose passive fish.

It's a little soft vs a guy with this vpip and this AF, but I think I agree - this looks too much like it could be an 8 so I'm calling. What would you say his calling range is if you push, Liam?

Chuck/Liam - I suppose that's one of the fundamental differences between FR v 6Max. 6Max against any opposition open limping is widely regarded as wrong.

While open limping is much more acceptable at FR, raising is still much better in most situations. Liam may disagree with me since he's a
loose passive fish.

:)

But seriously, you could make a case for playing any type of style, but imo being more aggressive both pre and postflop has a lot nicer-looking merits to it.

why is calling 'chickening out' here? i think it's a given that villain is calling with anything better than KT given reads, and do we really think he is calling a shove with any worse hands?

i agree with Jag in that I don't like the pf limp here - why aren't we raising pre and trying to isolate in position against the donk (or just folding, but that's pretty weaksauce)?

I agree limp was crappy. It has its merits but isolation here is better.

Villians calling range is any pair/any king/or an 8 obv.

Anyway i called, he showed K
