FFS, too nitty ? TBH I fold because im drunk and totally lost, MP1 always has a Jack or im drawing dead against 33, so i have zero FE, UTG is table fish, and is playing with a big cross on his chest.

Anyone perfer betting the flop ?

I don't know but I can't help but feel that this is totally fine.

Maybe I'm too much of a nit ..

Reads on the bettor? If he really always has a jack+ here and never folds to action, then it's just an odds problem.

Getting 2.6:1, pot odds aren't enough, but if he always pays us off when we hit then we're getting basically 6:1 which is enough to the turn.

The problem is that a) we can't possibly say he's always on a jack, so your implied odds aren't that good, b) he may fold when the flush hits and c) he may already have you drawing dead/hit a FH and you hit your flush at the same time/have a bigger flush draw, so your outs aren't clean.

Folding's fine with your read. I may have ****ed some of that math up though, but at first glance I said 'easy fold' to myself given the stack size and reads.

Yea this is a fold imo. Hard to get paid off coz your hand is obvious, you have no fold equity which makes a FD much worse, you aren't really getting great odds to call, and you could be so easily crushed here by a bigger flush draw, or 33 on occasion. Can't imagine any way to play this profitably.

not nitty at all, i fold here 100%. there are a lot of people who seem to think you can never c/f a flush draw on the flop to one bet, but this is a spot where you clearly should. chuck and feitr pretty much covered it
