Villian here is 11/6/3 over a biggish sample.

I'm a little unsure about my flop call tbh, his line just is always a set right ?

i dont really see him limping UTG a hand like AQ which is like all you beat barring a strange out of character bluff so yeah i think you have to fold the turn

i call the flop bet and then fold the turn just like you so yeah looks fine

Taking a page out of Fredrik's book, this could be a good spot to check back the flop. Unless the SB is someone who's loose enough for you to build a nice sized pot here expecting to be good, you're not going to get much value here. UTG almost always has a pocket pair and won't continue unless he hit.

I actually like checking behind on this flop a lot. Basically you're either dead to a set or he's drawing to 2 outs almost always, so giving a free card has very little downside. Since he's not likely limp/calling with any Ace what are we getting value from betting this flop against this opponent?

+1 vote for checking back flop vs. nits. Tho c-betting & folding to a raise is good too if he's not the "play back at you" type.

It's funny how someone who up until recently was c-betting 90%+ of his flops has become CC's "omg check the flop"-guy, heh.

But I agree with checking back the flop. Call the turn if he bets, vs this villain you may even fold river if he barrels twice, although I probably wouldn't just because I hate money.

OK, even after I bet the flop is knew it was kinda dodgy, and calling the raise was pretty much spew.

Line against this guy is really is to play it like KK on the same board, which was my thoughts instantly on the hand, the main reason I bet this flop was the small blind in the hand as well (I still don't know fully why, but giving 2 players free cards seems a lot sillier than giving it to 1)

Why would you ever bet KK on this board against a nit?

nevermind, I understand what you mean now. Thought you were furthering an argument to bet the flop.
