3-Bet was very light, villian was raising liberally and folding to resistance just as liberally. Playing on my laptop so no stats, assume villian is a decent reg.

Like checking the turn, calling the river better ?

I like that you got it all in on the turn. There is two different flush draws out there no reason to give him a free card to suck out, he could easily have AK of diamonds or something like that. Either that or he has kings and you're completely screwed.

Looks ok to me.. especially to someone playing that way. That $61 on the turn from you is essentially an all in since there is no way you are folding to his shove if he makes it (which he did). I agree you gotta play it aggressively with the draws and he could easily have AK.

I would also think KK would reraise you pre.

You are gonna tell us he flipped K9o aren't you?

Looks fine as played. Maybe a bit bigger 3bet but I understand not wanting to scare him away. A SPR of 3.8 is low enough to commit with an overpair of Aces. If he has a 9 I hope you gave him hell. If he has K9 I hope you got his address and are wearing his skin right now.

The hand plays itself out. If he took a flyer with 10-9 suited ... well, nice flop for him. The money is fairly deep here so he could very well have the 9 in his hand but at these stakes and without reads I'd bet the turn and hope he has KQ, KJ, AK, maybe even QQ or JJ.

3-Bet was very light

What's meant by this? That you were 3-betting him light in previous hands?

I think ignoring the preflop metagame, if this were a reg I think we should be checking the turn. He's basically on a JJ+/AK range and that range doesn't put too many chips in on that flop with JJ-QQ, so we basically want to play it wa/wb. The flush draw doesn't really come into play too often imo as he's very rarely calling a 3-bet with AQ OOP, so protecting isn't an issue - pot control is.

EDIT: bah, saw the stack sizes and he could be in there with much worse hands...I'm not sure I can get away from this.

With the table dynamics it could get interesting. If you've been 3-betting him a whole lot then I like playing for stacks postflop since he'll be in there with a lot worse hands.

Yep, id been on a bit run on this table, managed to just lose a decent pot though. Every time he raised I seemed to have AK/QQ/JJ and 3 bet him. I figured that to do it again Id need to be very strong.

As soon as I bet that turn I figured I could have gotten to showdown much more cheaply if i checked that turn and called the river. I dont think the way i played it was too spewey thinking a bit about this hand more today.

He had KK.

People who call 3 bets with AA/KK and hit sets on the flop should be shot at dawn for being such sneaky, perverse human beings, imo :D.
